As a physicist at the European XFEL, I focus on developing cutting-edge XFELs, aiming for full control over XFEL pulses. This includes the creation of ultrashort, ultra-intense X-ray pulses at the attosecond-terawatt scale, a critical endeavor for probing the fundamental processes of matter with unprecedented clarity and detail. In addition, I am passionate about AI for Science, such as incorporating artificial intelligence into the design and automation of advanced XFELs.
